What is involved in diagnosing and treating pain?

The LAGS pain management program starts with comprehensive consultation in order to determine the sources of pain, whether acute or chronic, allowing us to customize individualized treatment plans and necessary procedures. Interventional pain management procedures include joint/trigger point injections, platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy, nerve blocks, ablations and mental health counseling. Our in-house lab gives us quick access to test results, as well as electromyography, nerve conduction studies (EMG & NCS) and ENFD punch biopsies to check for small fiber neuropathy nerve damage.
